Firefox add ons are gadgets that go on your Firefox tool bar.  Some of them can be helpful and some of them can be fun like destroy the web.  Destroy the web is an add on that lets you virtually destroy a web page, it is a great way to take out your anger!

Favicon

Favicon is a website that lets you personalize your icon next to the web browser.  It can be animated or just something you create. 

Blog through my email!

This is a post through my Email account at Gmail, but you dont have to have a gmail to do this, you can do this off any email account.  When you compose your mail send to EXAMPLE:<emailaddress.name.blogger.com>, and then it will appear as a post post on your blog just like this!

Delicious is yet another social bookmarking site.  It is a little like Symbaloo in a way because you are able to bookmark things and share them with people that have the same interests as you.

Delicious is yet another social bookmarking site.  It is a little like Symbaloo in a way because you are able to bookmark things and share them with people that have the same interests as you.

Symbaloo

Symbaloo is another social bookmarking site.  I think that this is one of the most amazing things I have seen in this class so far!  What it is is it lets you bookmark all of your favorite sites and then save them so that you can come back and have them and also others can look at them too if they have the same interests as you.

Diigo

Diigo is a social bookmarking site.  Diigo has many different tools that help you in your internet adventures.  An example of one of these tools is highlighter.  Highlighter is a tool that lets you highlight something and save only what you highlighted.  Plus when you come back to it it will still be highlighted as long as you are logged into Diigo!

iGoolge

This is a picture of my iGoolge homepage.  On iGoogle you can add gadgets that will help you and others, and also some are just there so you can have fun.  On my homepage I added several gadgets such as a yo momma joke of the day gadget, a clock, bejeweled, and a sketch pad.

Histats

Histats is a website where you can create a counter.  A counter is a gadget that shows how many people have visited your site, also it can tell you where they are from.  You can pick a counter that you think will fit your page.  You can make it animated, or you can just have a 1 line bar that tells how many visits you have had.  This can be fun and helpful to you if you plan on making money through the internet.  Say someone comes to your site, they see how many people have visited you page that day and they think to themselves, wow i could get some good advertising through this.  Then they call you up and you get paid for an add being put on you site.

Blogger Gadgets

We have added gadgets before like the list of links, friends list, and list of pages, but now we went through ALL of the gadgets and found some interesting items.  Some of these include a gadget called fish.  Fish is a gadget where there are fish on your screen and you can feed them.  It is a little pointless but it is kind of fun!  Also there are some gadgets i found that could be useful, like sociable.  Sociable is a gadget that is linked to social networking sites such as Facebook, and Twitter.

Stats

Today we added a gadget called stats.  With this gadget I can see how many people have viewed my blog, and also I can see where they are from.  Also I can see what type of computer they were on.

Word Clouds

This is a word cloud that i made on wordle.  Wrodle is a website that lets you create a collage of words.  It is very fun.  There are also other sites, like tagxeto, where you can do the same thing but you can make your words into specific shapes.

Voki is a Website where you can make a talking avatar. You can change the background and you can make a character to resemble yourself. Also you can send it to a friend and have it say something to your buddy's.

Today we made a talking web tool.  Mine is a talking baby that i made on E-Trade Baby Mail and its really cute, because it bounces.  See my example.

This is my Meez avatar.  On the Meez website you can design an avatar to reflect your personality.  Some of the items cost points and some of the items are free but by playing games you can earn coins and make your meez awesome...like mine.

how i currently use social media.

When i get on the internet I like to get on facebook and youtube.  i love to look up music and check out new songs from some of my favorite bands such as; The Black Keys, Them Crooked Vultures, Jack Johnson, and other types of music.
